Material Handler – Support High-End Custom Millwork

We’re looking for a dependable, detail-driven Material Handler who understands that organization, accuracy, and accountability directly impacts the quality of our work. This role is critical to keeping our projects moving and our shop operating at a high level. What You’ll Do

  • Receive and verify incoming materials for accuracy and quality
  • Prepare and coordinate accurate, on-time shipments of materials and finished millwork.
  • Label, organize, and store materials properly within the shop
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts and stock records
  • Stage materials for production and installation teams
  • Identify shortages or discrepancies and communicate proactively
  • Assist with returns and required documentation
  • Operate and maintain forklifts and material handling equipment
  • Keep warehouse and material areas clean, safe, and organized

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1–5 years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material handling experience preferred
  • Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience with general inventory management and stock organization
  • Ability to lift 50–100 lbs consistently
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient computer and data entry skills
  • Organized, self-motivated, and dependable
  • Clear communication and a team-first mindset
