15Years of Experience Working

We grow our company by growing our people. Our core values drive how we work, grow, and succeed together.

We are a locally owned and operated firm founded by Casey Schlaegle, a Pittsburgh native with a diverse educational and practical background in construction and architecture. Growing up around the architectural woodworking and commercial construction industries, he gained a keen eye for aesthetics and uncompromising craftsmanship.

Shortly after graduating from the University of Pittsburgh, Casey started SDBA (2011) in the basement of his home with a miter saw, table saw, several routers, and a few other low-tech tools. Currently, SDBA is located in a state-of-the-art woodworking production facility conveniently located in Windgap Industrial Park.

SDBA employs a talented team of Union Mill Cabinet and Commercial Carpenters and is a proud member of the Architectural Woodwork Institute, Pennsylvania Builders Exchange, and Master Builders’ Association of Western Pennsylvania. We specialize in the design and fabrication of high-performance, custom casework products using the latest technologies to ensure quality and efficiency, reducing lead time and cost for our clients.
